Now, Martin will tell you that it was moving house that spawned the need for a shop like Crafty Corner, little does he know, it all started when Lynda was just 6 years old.
At just 6 years old, Lynda had a dream, a shop with a haberdashery counter she could call her own, and flash forward to today, she has her haberdashery counter, all the way from Cornwall! She also has a beautiful shop on Mill St, that some may say came about from a chance comment. One day, during a house move, with one moving truck firmly jammed to the roof with wools, yarns and crafting supplies of every colour, the joke was made "you should open a shop", but Lynda didn't laugh, oh no, she created Crafty Corner!
Crafty Corner is a veritable Aladdin's Cave of wools, embroidery silks, hand dyed spools and everything in between, in fact, anything you can think of to start a new hobby, and as if that wasn't enough, Lynda also hosts numerous get togethers, from just sitting with a brew and your current project, to learning a brand new skill, she does it all.
